Would You Get a “Fox Eye” Thread Lift?
Thread lifts have been popular in recent years, giving patients an alternative to more invasive procedures while still increasing facial volume. However, there have always been concerns when it comes to threads, from scar tissue developing underneath the skin to uneven results.
Now, some doctors are using them for the fox eye lift – essentially, the Bella Hadid look. But is a fox eye thread lift right for you? Or should you give more thought to the fox eye vs. brow lift debate?
Thread lifts have their benefits, but for many, the risks outweigh them, especially around the eyes. Why the Fox Eye Lift Is Appealing
Essentially, right now, a lot of people are going for a somewhat feline look to their eyes. Cat eye makeup has long been on trend, and this procedure essentially takes that effect and makes it semi-permanent. At the same time, it can eliminate certain signs of aging.
The problem with the thread lift is that many people have had complications with it, quite a few of them serious. While all cosmetic procedures have their risks, based on what we are seeing, it seems a little too high given this is a med spa procedure, not an actual surgery. And on top of this, the lack of predictability in results makes it questionable whether or not this trade-off is worth it in the way it is with surgery.
Alternatives to the Fox Eye Thread Lift
We would suggest you skip the thread lift and go for more predictable treatments. BOTOX and a brow lift are both great ways you can control the contour of your eyes. BOTOX is a temporary option, giving you room to play around a bit, while a brow lift lasts years, making it a great investment.
