Is Summer the Right Season for Breast Surgery?

As the warmer summer months roll around, many women start to think about scheduling a breast augmentation to help them achieve an optimal bikini body. While there isn’t a right or wrong time to get implants, there are a few things you’ll want to consider when deciding when the best time for breast surgery is for you.
You’ll Need to Stay out of the Sun
During the first stages of recovery after your breast augmentation, you should plan to stay out of direct sunlight to help maximize your healing and results. While this is totally doable during the summer, it just may be a little more difficult to avoid the sun, sand and waves this time of year.
You Won’t See Your Final Results Just Yet
If you’re in a hurry to schedule your breast surgery in time for swimsuit season, keep in mind that your results aren’t going to appear overnight.
It can take several months for your breast implants to settle into their final positon, so it might be worth taking a little more time to plan in order to fully enjoy your results for next bikini season.
Do What’s Best for You
One of the advantages to planning your breast surgery in the summer is that many people have extra time off of work this time of year, or don’t have to worry about getting the kids to and from school and other activities. If this is the case for you and it makes sense to schedule your breast augmentation in the summer, go for it!
Ultimately, the best time for your breast surgery is entirely up to you and will depend on your personal preferences, schedule and lifestyle.
